Love Grand Haven plus we had family there. Warren Dunes State Park is another great place in Michigan
18:25 totally agree! We have done many trips cross country, mainly out west. Pack what you can and hit as much as you can! Everything weve done has been within 10 days and the most was just over 6000 miles. We've done it from a Subaru, truck and pop up camper and most recently our class c RV!
Isie Royale is a Michigan national park
I know this is 4 years old, but I just wanted to say that we have a camper van and we use it like a backpacking van. We drive to see places during the day and then we stop for the night in a new place and move on the next day.

Great video! Love all the things that you do! Just a small correction. Michigan has Isle Royal National Park which is an epic adventure. Pictured Rocks National Shoreline not a park but still a great trip.

New to your channel just stumble upon your video trying to plan a trip out west this is our third season RVing and it’s time to head out west from the East Coast Tennessee, North Carolina Maine Florida Keys Virginia upstate New York all been great the branch West for fortunate enough to have eight weeks vacation I’ve been covering a lot of territory want to take 3 weeks to go out west possibly the Southwest

LOL “Michigan doesn’t have a National Park”? You drove by Sleeping Bear National Park, the best campground we’ve ever seen. West of Traverse City on Lake Michigan.

You all have a great conversational style in this video and made us feel like you were just talking to us like friends. Those were some great tips. We haven't gotten to go out west yet, but the smokies are close enough that we've been planning to go as soon as we get our slideout fixed.
As a Michigander thank you for the inclusion. Our only national park is Isle Royal and is only accessible by boat or airplane. However, Michigan is full of state parks which have great facilities for RVs, but keep in mind that state forest campgrounds are more rustic…the forest word makes all the difference lol

Can you please share the RV parks you stayed at in Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Boseman?
We did 2,300 miles around Texas and 23 state parks in 8 days. It is doable….obviously some were just day use and drive throughs but it's the 100th anniversary of Texas State Parks so we are trying to visit as many as we can this year.

Shoutout to Kentucky State Parks! We did a lot of long-weekend trips when we were working. I kept a map with a 300 mile radius circle with the center on our home in Michigan. As you have said Michigan has great state parks and beach towns. Kentucky has hills, rock climbing, rafting and caves! Carter Caves and Cumberland Falls are two favorites.
i'm a little late to comment (great video BTW) but there is a national park in Michigan. it's Isle Royale National Park but it's very remote. you have to take a boat to get to it but looks like a great place.

You guys are awesome. I have a good one for you and maybe the same outcome just longer. I'm currently deployed and while deployed my wife and I have bought a beautiful tow behind for our family of 5. Now long story short when I return home I will have 30 days of leave, our goal is to travel to the top national parks in the US. We would start in Maine as a reference. Where are your top ten or less if you could do it in a month?
Being an older individual with a heart condition, I am considering e-bikes to allow my wife and me to "get away from the road" and see some of the sights not visible from the road. Do you have any recommendations for "e-bike friendly" trips?
When it comes to national parks, I would recommend getting in as early as possible by 6:30 or 7. You will beat the crowds at the gate and be able to reach those places that get crowded quickly without any difficulty!
Y'all. You missed Outer Banks. The East Most West Coast is where it's at! It's perfect for a week but if you don't see everything you WILL go back. OBX is magically magnetic. It's the furthest from everywhere. It's got everything you want but nothing encroaches on your vacation vibes. It's where God Himself goes for peace and quiet.

I am from The Pacific N.W. I can spend 10 days just in Montana or Idaho hot springs hit all the hot springs as for Orgon you can see high desert and high mountains all in a wk. now there is Washington same high plains and mountains all are so beautiful

People want you to do everything in one trip we have been RV'ing for 10 years and just started full time about 6 months ago. We do what I call it "catch and release" visits we don't bite off more than we can chew with out having to run ourselves ragged. We travel with the intent of making multiple trips to the same place over the years.
I would love to see you take a trip from the beginning of Highway 27 all the way down. It would be a fun trip for you guys.
