If you’re flying a 777 in economy, try to book the seats towards the back where the fuselage starts to narrow. It’s not wide enough for three abreast so there’s no middle seat and due to the shape of the inside you get a few more inches of legroom because the seat is pushed back slightly to fit into the curve.
First and second rows are also close to the bathroom and I have never been on a flight where it doesn’t start to smell. Forget leg room for me, I rather not smell a sewer while flying because someone couldn’t hold it in lol
I chose the seats for my family which I assumed they had a little more space, once booked and paid, they changed the seats to "the normal ones" a few weeks before the flight. This happened with EVA, BKK-AMS. Sucked D 🤨
I like the last row too because you’re usually the first to board after Business so the overhead bins are still empty. But do double check, once I got a flight where the last row doesn’t recline and that row doesn’t have a window. Ridiculous
Eastbound International flights: – Pay the $$$ for a bidness class seat that flattens, just do it – go to sleep immediately – eat nothing before or during the flight – drink nothing until 1 hour before landing

Last row is the worst choice. Depending on the airline, often they don’t recline, and for every one you get to smell/hear the toilets

You get served the meal quicker but it means you have to sit with the finished meal longer. They won’t take it away until they do the rest
