I visited at the beginning of November a while back and weather was good. Not too many crowds in Sorrento and Positano and Pompeii. However bus in Positano was so unreliable. We were all standing waiting over 1 hour for the delayed bus. Apart from that I really enjoyed the visit.
Totally donโt agree. Donโt go during peak season. Go in September for example. Do your research and know how to get around. Itโs one of my favorite trips and I would absolutely go back again
Took a guided date trip to the Amalfi Coast from Napoli back in 2022 and I loved it. I thought it was better than Cinque Terre. I wish I could live at the Amalfi Coast for about a month.
worst country ever , car tickets will get you 1000 dollar fine at least and come after a year on your credit card , everything in italian so you dont understand , please save your money and anger from this place!
Iโm Italian in Italy right now. Iโm going to the Almafi coast today. I can assure you there is no reason you cannot travel to the amalfi coast. Itโs a great place and has a beautiful view.

I live in a resort town in California. Every Winter Season we have tourists from all over the Country. We welcomed them and little town comes to life. And give us a boost to our local businesses. ๐
This is the problem with Italy in general. All the big areas are just swamped with people all times of the year there is no off-season and it just makes it not fun. Was there last year never saw it busier donโt wanna go back
I shohld have seen this video BEFORE I went there last month. It was extremely crowded, the stairs were super narrow and steep, everything was double the price of expensive tourist spots, and the traffic was HORRIBLE! It took about an hour to even leave by the super narrow single road.
Why are there so many people? Transportation is horrible , why? Steep hills? The explanation to these riddles, natural beauty like you've never seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I misjudged you and I really didn't know your situation. But if you will do something to make me fall in love again, I will surely do something to resist that.
I went for all of you guys last Sept & Oct. Every place from Paris to Nice to Italy was crowded. At least the top 10 sites were. But from 11 to 20 they were nearly empty. So avoid going to the hits and you can get in without a line. The Bay of Naples is a place I've traveled to since 1966. Ferries go from place to place all the time. There is a eclectic trolley from Naples to the ruins of Pompeii and the easy comforts of Sorrento. If you can't walk uphill there are cabs. If you are losing your mobility take a cruise. If the complaints are it's too busy, costly and hard –then find your easy chair and a good book.
