I never was asked for my liquid bag at TSA.
I never use the seat back pocket after seeing a nose picker repeatedly wipe mucous inside.

Will the large black tote fit under the airplane seat?
We are flying domestically in the U.S. for spring break and my son wants to bring a regular size adidas backpack. The actual dimensions of the bag itself as listed on the website are slightly over the airlines limit. My question is, if he doesn't pack it full and it's somewhat deflated from it's potential capacity, will it still work?

Which Nomad Lane bag do you like better, The Origami tote or the Bento Bag? I love the Bento Bag but hear from some people it's heavy (but hey it holds a ton).. I really want to buy it, but yet it doesn't fit on every airline like Aer Lingus it's 4" too wide for their regulations. I also love the tote but how much smaller is it? I have given up on pockets and use 3 or 4 makeup bags of different shapes and sizes. . Lord knows I have plenty.
I now carry a medium tote like the Longchamp ale Pliage. I love the very square bottom.

Have you flown Lufthansa Business class? They say you can take 2 carryons, of course one could be concierge checked. The max weight is low so I want to put the heavy stuff in the personal bag but the max width is only 4” wide, no weight max, as if I could pack a ton! Which personal bag to use? Seems pointless with the max measurements but I know I can fit bags under the seat in front of me.
Does anyone else have an issue with your tote bag or backpack being shoved on the floor under the seat in front of you? I’ve reminded that that area could be filthy from the other person shoes , from pets that are on the flight, etc. I don’t want anything. I have to handle a carry on a filthy floor. I also don’t noticed that many travelers put there filthy shoes on top of their clothing in their luggage. How do you justify that I mean you’re transferring filth onto your clean clothing?

I take out pouches then figure out what I need in each pouch. My personal bag has only one small bag outside. I try to cut down what I bring.
A saw a video a while back and it was for the “3rd” carry on. It is a vest used by fishermen or photographers or people who need a lot of things in quick reach. It has pockets inside and outside. I pack it w everything I will need on the plane in easy reach and then it is all on my body. Passports I stick in the inside pocket. Amazon haz lots of options and they recently had a new one that is denim and doesn’t look so much like a fishing vest. Make my like mush easier and frees some space in my actual bag too
I also love the rolling back back in case I pack it heavy
That seat sleeve only works if the person in front of you does not recline their seat….
Laurie, you need to be a bit more explicit about what you mean by the belly of the plane for infrequent travelers – that you are referring to checked bags, including carry-on bags if they end up being checked.
I love that hanging toiletry bag….but the hook bends and falls if the bag is heavy. The only disappointment in that purchase.😊
